Dr. Sharma recently relocated from Winnipeg to Toronto after 23 years of academic career and more than 100,000 patients’ experience. He has certification in Critical Care Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases and Sleep Medicine. Prior to his relocation, Dr. Sharma was Professor of Medicine and Head of Respirology at University of Manitoba and Consultant in Critical Care Medicine, Sleep Disorders, Internal Medicine and Respiratory Medicine at St. Boniface General Hospital and Health Sciences Centre. Dr. Sharma has interests and is doing research work on: Newer therapies for asthma and COPD; Pulmonary complications after cardiac surgery; Obstructive sleep apnea – New treatments and compliance with CPAP; Exercise associated arterial Hypoxemia in athletes and non-athletes.

Dr. Ranjit studied medicine and gained his Bachelor of Medical Degree (BM) from the University of Southhampton in the UK in 2011. After completing foundational training and research in the UK, he relocated to Alberta, Canada where he went on to his Internal Medicine Residency followed by a Respirology Fellowship and continued on to work as a Clinical Internal Medicine Associate. He now resides in Toronto and is the Community Sleep and Respirologist at multiple Independent Health Facilities throughout the Greater Toronto Area. He is also the Associate Clinical Respirologist at the Southlake Regional Hospital.

With almost 30 years of medical expertise, Dr. Wilkes graduated from the Queens University Faculty of Medicine in 1994 in Kingston, Ontario. He continued to complete both his Residencyin Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care from the Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago Illinois. After working throughout Canada and the United States, he now resides in the Oakville where he continues his speciality in outpatient Respirology and Pulmonary Medicine for the Toronto Lung Clinic.
